and the unbearable heat

I woke up extra early this morning with the realization that I didn’t provide a short bio, links or anything for my stint as Fresh Signal contributor at Coudal. The site likely sounds familiar as I’ve culled from their streams of information many a time. Now the pressure turns back on me as I try and figure out what I can throw back into the mix this June (already?).

If you’re not familiar with Coudal Partners, they’re the design collective in Chicago that doesn’t really have a portfolio online — but they’ve got other things instead:

Booking Bands – mashing book titles and band names together for giggles

Copy Goes Here – a movie they made (because making movies is easier than writing)

And coming this week: Field Tested Books – reviews of certain books read in certain places by all sorts of folks.

Then there’s the Jewelboxing and The Show, I could go on…

For folks just coming to my site from there, here’s a bit about me:

I went swimming yesterday because it was really hot in Cincinnati.
I took a picture because, well, I take pictures near every day – for no good reason (and lots of great ones.)
When folks ask me what I do for a living, I scratch my head, torn between making websites and something… tangible.
