Pilots have to work on Labor Day

Peering in the cockpit
Ah Labor Day.
Long weekends always seem to throw that internal clock into a tizzy and it seemed like a Sunday.
No better time to grab a late breakfast with pancakes and sugary-fake blackberry syrup.
The rain never really let up in Kansas City. It was good though, 'cause I got together with Art and we went through all the photos from our shared leg of the journey and put together a DVD. One false start with the wrong type of media (DVD+R**) and trying to figure out a soundtrack kept thoughts of the muddy rodeo at bay.
My flight was delayed on every layover and I would end up having to drive back from Columbus to truly get home, home.
I gathered no moss.
It was a good weekend.
** The gripe that won't be heard: C'mon computer industry - no more of these beta/VHS-like battles! Can't anything be simple? DVD-R, DVD+R, RW blah blah blah... Grrrrrrr.
