Elphaba
Went to see Wicked tonight through a lucky turn of events.
Been familiarizing myself with the music for the past week or so, and what fun it was to see all the pieces fall in place with the dialog between the songs.
The leads were great, the costumes fun in Dr. Seussian way, and the sets did their job. Aside from a somewhat wonky angle of the stage, a giddy thumbs up all around.
I like this show a lot. Mainly for the notion of taking an old familiar story and twisting it deliciously into something with greater meaning. And as much as I thought things would fall neatly into good and bad, I don’t think it’s a spoiler by saying they didn’t.
I am glad that you liked it… I saw this on Broadway, and it just blew me away. I have tickets to see it here in Atlanta when it comes, and I know that it just isn’t going ot measure up, but I know that I will love it anyway.
I can’t wait till they make this a movie… they gotta, right?
Could you e-mail me if you have any other pictures (or anything else) from this performance? Especially of “Defying Gravity.” Thanks!!
Great Picture! Is there any way you could email me some more pictures you took at Wicked? Thanks!
Hi there like the others i was interested in if you had any other pictures you took from the show and if you would be kind enough to send them to me? thanks so much! And i understand if you can’t just let me know !
Thanks
Geoff
Sadly, or not, this was the only real picture that turned out. I was too busy enjoying the show to take any more.

Geoff
I saw the show in Dallas last October & was blown away.
So much so that I immediately went home and pounded out a 58-slide powerpoint presentation, with pictures that I found on the web and clips of the music. I’m kind of a powerpoint nut(58 slides/622 picture-files/86 sound clips/877 custom animations). I believe that I did a pretty good job of telling the whole story. My nieces & nephews Loved it, and it was cheaper than taking them all to Dallas.
If you have a P.O. box, I’ll send you a copy.
I sent it out to all my friends & family at Christmas.
ELPHABA LIVES!
btw: if anyone else has more pics, please email me
(thanx)
does anyone kno who is going to be playing elphaba in new york around september? PLEASE EMAIL ME IF U DO AT STEVEN5225@GMAIL.COM (not caps) THANK YOU i truely appriciate it !
I Love Wicked.
I first saw it on television last year on Children In Need and then i was lucky enough to see it again on The Royal Variety Performance. I was totally blow away by the performances.
Idina Menzel always puts 100% into everything she does and Wicked is/was no expection. I do miss Idina as Elphaba, I think the original cast members are always the best.
I haven’t been to see Wicked yet but i am hoping to do so this year while it is still in England.
If anyone would be kind enough to send me pictures of video clips of Wicked please email them to me on >> mmpinkmonkeys_@hotmail.com
Thanks
