Lounge Act: November 23
I feel awful that I don’t know all the bands that come through the studio. I’d say it’s impossible, but the DJs there all seem to command a vast amount of knowledge of everything under the sun.
Me? I help design websites and take photos on the side. I also know a good lot about home videogame systems. I should find ways to spice that up on a resumé.
So this Joseph Arthur and his accompanist on violin put on a fantastic set, kicked back and haunting. The amount of good music coming through is going to empty my wallet.
One of the folks traveling with them asked if we had any schwag while they were leaving… My eyes bulged a little at the audacity, until I figured out he meant CDs or t-shirts.
