In a parallel scene, I was checking my brother out of the hospital and I think he’s going to be okay for now.
We almost made back to the other side of town in time.
My father passed with my sister holding his hand, as he reached outward with the other. Occasionally cupping it over his eyes as if he were searching the horizon, I’m told.
Breaths became labored until there just weren’t anymore left.
I’d like to thank everyone for their support over these past months.
GLASS Robert A., loving father of Robin Galea, Robert Glass Jr., Thomas Glass and Christopher Glass. Loving grandfather of Mark, Matthew, Gabrielle and Kyle. Dear brother of Betty Peters, Gary Glass, Michael Glass, William Glass, John Glass and the late Ronnie and Tommy Glass. Dear friend of Royal and Michael Bohl. Robert is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Clermont Social Masonic Lodge #29 and the Carpenter’s Union Local #2. Robert died on August 28, 2004 at age 62. Residence Tate Township. Friends may call at the E.C. Funeral Home (200 Western Ave.) New Richmond, Ohio on Tuesday from 2-4 P.M. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 P.M.
